Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) completed the development projects for power transmission in the Wadi Al Helo, at a cost of 45 million dirhams, including the extension of 33 kilovolt ground cables from the city of Kalba to the Wadi Al Helo, with a length of 25 km.
The Authority also completed the laying of fiber optic cables, with a length of 25 km, as part of its future plan to connect the Wadi Al Helo with the control and monitoring system (ESCADA). The transformers of the 33 kV Wadi Al Helo station were upgraded to (MW16) 20MVA, which will serve the Wadi Al Helo region during the next 15 years., with the aim of providing the best services to the people of the region.

Engineer Moza Al Zaabi, Director of the Kalba Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, explained that the Authority is working on the completion of development projects in the Wadi Al Helo, which is witnessing the implementation of a package of vital projects, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, contributing to providing the best services to the people of the region.
