Sharjah central and eastern ladies welcome Ramadan

Sharjah24: The branches of Sharjah Ladies Club welcome the Holy month of Ramadan with constructive and interesting agenda of events and activities which will be organized during Ramadan days and nights in Kalba, Al Dhaid, Al Mudam, Al Bataeh, Wadi Al Hilo, Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn and Al Hamriyah.
In this regard, Ms. Moza Al Weshahy; Director of the Sharjah Ladies Club branch in Kalba City, said: At the branches of Sharjah Ladies Club, we are keen to develop a unique and diverse program for Ramadan events in a way that contributes to the establishment of a functional and social environment in which creative communication prevails between Club employees, members and the society, as well as promotes social integration and compassion and consolidates the values of tolerance and affection among them. Various series of events are introduced, including different religious, awareness-raising, social, cultural and charitable events. The events will continue throughout the holy month and will end with events dedicated to celebrating Eid Al Fitr Al Mubarak.

Constructive Competitions in Kalba 
In the City of Kalba, the Club branch, in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs, organizes a series of Ramadan competitions, one of which is the seventh cycle of the Holy Quraan competition for women, children and the elderly within the age group from 8 years to 50 years who are members of the permanent sessions in or outside the Branch. The competition aims to encourage participants to memorize the Holy Quraan during the Holy Month and to exert more effort in learning Quraan and mastering its recitation. The competition is divided into five different categories depending on the number of Quraan parts to be memorized by each category. The Branch also organizes the twentieth cycle of its Ramadan cultural competition for women with the aim of encouraging competition among them and utilizing their times with cultural information and fruitful knowledge. The competition includes 30 questions that are published and sent to all institutions and women in the society. The winners will receive valuable prizes, as per the terms and rules of the Competition, which can be reviewed by communicating with the branch management.

Advantages and entertainment in Al Bataeh
At Sharjah Ladies Club, Al Bataeh branch, Marasi Restaurant welcomes visitors by introducing many delicious popular dishes that meet the taste of guests in their various events, while the Layaqa Fitness Center offers discounts up to 20% on its services for the women wishing to benefit from its sports and fitness programs.
It is scheduled that Layaqa Center will organize an event (Ramadan nights) in mid-Ramadan, as a women entertaining sports day will be held outdoors, including many games and sports competitions.

Ramadan creations in Al Mudam
Sharjah Ladies Club, Al Mudam branch initiates its activities by organizing (Ramadan creations) program targeting children, which includes various Ramadan activities with the participation of the club facilities. A religion lecture for women will be held in cooperation with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

Religious Events for Al Dhaid women
In Al Dhaid City, a range of religious events are held for women, including a religious lecture for women presented by the Islamic Preacher Wedad Saif Al-Ka’bi entitled (consolation of hearts) in cooperation with the Office of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Another event is (Ramadan nights); a group Iftar meetings, recreational competitions, sports programs and Zumba classes. Moreover, the Ramadan (Tala Program) Camp will welcome children by holding a number of workshops and fantastic events to invest their time.

Sessions and lectures in Wadi Al Hilo
Wadi Al Hilo agenda includes a variety of events. The Council of Wadi Al Hilo area’s Wali will host Ramadan session entitled (Speeches of Light), organized by the Club branch with the participation of a group of Emirati researchers and figures in the Eastern Region, namely Fatma Al Moghanny, Habiba Al Mazrou’i and Shamsa Al Al Mazrou’i. The session will include presentations and discussions of a series of speeches affirming the role of the family and women, starting by the speech of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi; Member of the  Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and other speeches of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi; Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to quotations from the book The Journey of Hope and Humanitarianism by the writer Salha Ghabesh.

Ibdaa’ Talent Centre at Wadi Al Hilo branch also organizes an event (Ramadan Nights) to be hosted by the Wadi Al Hilo Public Library, which includes lectures throughout the Holy Month, presented by Badia Mohammed Kheir on the Life of the Prophet (seerah), good morals, the merits of charity and the Night of Qadr. Also it organizes a number of courses for children and ladies, including Rattel Wartaq course (recite and ascend in ranks) .

Khorfakkan is adorned with Ramadan Events 
Within the Ramadan program of the Club branch in Khorfakkan, the (Ahlan Ramadan) event will be held. It includes a religious lecture in cooperation with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowment, an open discussion session to talk about Ramadan between the past and the present, and interactive competitions among the attendees. In addition, the Parent Council of the Gems School in Fujairah will present a student show and Ajman Women will participate by presenting their sales within the projects of productive families in Riwaq hall at the club, along with the sales of Marasi Restaurant and Ibdaa’ center. 

Special events for Children in Dibba Al Hisn
The agenda of the club branch in Dibba Al Hisn city sets multiple activities. The (Ramadan Nights) program holds sessions of a number of religious stories for children. The Spring Adventure Camp offers a package of activities and programs for children in cooperation with the Department of Social Services. Each weekend, the (Ramadan Creations) program will hold several workshops, shows and a cultural competitions for children.

Al Hamriyah Welcomes Ramadan Nights 
In Al Hamriyah area, the Club branch activities will begin with the Spring Adventure Camp for children, which will be held in two periods, morning and evening throughout the days of the Holy Month. During the morning period, (Tala program) will organize several Ramadan workshops to train the participants on making Ramadan lanterns, Ramadan crescent and prayer carpets, as well as religious sessions on the stories of prophets will be held, while during the evening, various handcraft workshops and a number of sports classes will be held.

As part of the religious program for women, the Islamic preacher Dr. Ghesna Al ‘Amri will give a lecture entitled "The paradise of Heart", accompanied by free checkups for the attendees to measure their weight, blood sugar level and pressure as well as nutrition consultations.
