Al Doubi: Piety is fruit that fasting person gets during Ramadan

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Doubi, Head of the Preaching Section of the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, stressed the importance of doing what Allah has commanded us to do and not to do what He has forbidden us to do. If we follow Allah’s commands, this means we achieved the greatest lesson of fasting.

Dr. Al Doubi’s statement came during the second episode of “Ramadan Sermons” programme, broadcasts on “Sharjah 24” website and social media platforms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week, during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking to “Sharjah 24” Al Doubi explained that the verse ‘Thus makes clear Allah for you His Verses so that you may use your intellect’ is the verse where the real fruit- piety- of fasting lies, and what the fasting person really learns.
