Sharjah24: Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Doubi, Head of the Preaching Department at the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, said that a solar eclipse is a change that takes place in the universe with the partial disappearance of sunlight. Prophet Mohammed, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, called on believers in broad daylight to gather and led them in the longest prayer ever.
Al Doubi added in an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24” after the eclipse was over that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him explained to them the phenomenon saying that the sun and the moon are two of the God's signs for people to take lessons from.
