The celebration, which was attended by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, ECS's CEO, the directors of departments and employees, included many activities and programmes that reflected the essence of happiness and the importance of its international day. The celebration also included honouring a host of inspiring employees in appreciation of their commitment to performing their duties in a team spirit and spreading positivity at the workplace.
Al Midfa stressed that the UAE was among the very first nations to adopt the concept of happiness and positivity as a way of life and a government strategy, making many great achievements on the World Happiness Index, following our leadership's vision that has placed the happiness of society as a priority and at the centre of its attention, and harnessed all resources to achieve this goal. He pointed out that bolstering the concepts of happiness is part and parcel of ECS's strategy and work plans – whether at the institutional or societal level. Mr. Al-Midfa highlighted the fact that the exhibitions and social and entertainment events organised by ECS aim to bring joy and excitement to the members of society. He also mentioned ECS's initiatives and programmes that aim to promote the culture of happiness among the staffers.
