Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police (SP) General Headquarters continues its participation in the 16th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) 2025, which will be hosted at Expo Centre Sharjah with the theme "Let the books embrace you." At their stand, they are showcasing various security and policing publications through a series of activities and knowledge-driven talks.
The events will take place throughout the week and will include various seminars and talks targeted at helping youngsters develop their personalities while also increasing their cognitive, sociological, and digital awareness.

These include sessions like "The Little Expert," which is conducted in collaboration with specialised departments; lectures on national digital identities, self-confidence, and safe social media use; and workshops on road safety and cybercrime prevention.

Additionally, a series of storytelling events titled "A Story to Tell" and "Be My Friend, Don't Bully", as well as educational consultation sessions for families and guardians, are being offered.

Major Alia Abdulrahim Al Harmoudi, Head of the Community Activities Branch at the Department of Prevention and Community Protection, stated that these initiatives represent Sharjah Police's dedication to enhancing community security and instilling a culture of prevention among all socioeconomic groups. She praised the pleasant interaction between children and parents at the police station, commending families' knowledge and eagerness to involve their children in educational activities that contribute to their protection and development.

Sharjah Police encourages children, educational institutions, and families to visit their exhibit at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, which runs until Sunday, May 4, 2025, in support of community partnership and long-term development in security and awareness.
