SAM’s hospitality sector wins gold at “ExpoCulinaire”

Sharjah 24: The hospitality sector of Sharjah Asset Management (SAM), the investment arm of the Sharjah government, participated in the seventh edition of the world's largest cooking competition, "Salon Culinaire Emirates," held at Expo Centre Sharjah. The event recently concluded with over 2,000 chefs from various countries.

Awards Achieved

Chef Mohammed Jaber won a gold medal in the sandwiches and soups category, while Chef Soum Bahadur earned a silver medal in the same category. Both chefs are part of the skilled team at Al Jubail 1441 Restaurant and the fish section at Al Jubail Market, showcasing their exceptional skills and expertise.

Commitment to Excellence

Yousef Al Zaabi, Director General of Food and Hospitality at Sharjah Asset Management, emphasised that the participation seeks to showcase the skills of the hospitality team, especially at Restaurant 1441 and the fish section. This participation further cultivates chefs' abilities by introducing them to contemporary culinary trends, boosting the hospitality industry and reinforcing Sharjah's standing in the global hospitality arena.
