Sharjah24: Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, the University's College of Pharmacy organises the first annual International Conference for Pharmacy Students (ICPS-1), which came under the slogan "Promoting Sustainability in Pharmacy", during March 20 - 21 at Al-Razi Hall, Medical Campus.

The conference aims to educate the students about the labour market in this regard, enriching their knowledge about the future of pharmacists in the country, and enhancing the role of sustainability in pharmacy.

Several researchers, specialists and experts in the field of pharmaceutical and therapeutic industries from Arab and international universities will participate in the conference’s activities, sheding light on enhancing students' experiences, knowledge and skills in cooperation with leading authorities in the field of pharmacy.

The 2-day conference will include five scientific lectures, two workshops, and a presentation of a group of students' research, in addition to various specialised competitions.

The conference is an opportunity for pharmacy students to meet and interact in a professional environment. 

The theme of the conference is to explore new frontiers in pharmacy sciences and practice through the student's works and research in the fields of pharmaceutical science and pharmacy practice. 
It will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and learn about the recent advances in pharmacy and will address critical issues in the field. There will be many activities for the participants, such as pharmacy skills workshops, oral and poster sessions, postgraduate research meetings, student competitions, and social activities.
