Sharjah 24: Abu Bakr Al Kindi, General Coordinator of the Sharjah Heritage Days, stated that the people and visitors of Wadi Al Helo are on a date with a programme full of shows and events throughout the duration of the Sharjah Heritage Days, which opened in the region, on Wednesday.
Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Kalba, inaugurated, on Wednesday, the activities of the Sharjah Heritage Days in its 20th edition, in the heritage village in Wadi Al Helo.
The opening ceremony was attended by Khamis Al Mazrouei, Governor of Wadi Al Helo, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council, and a crowd of officials of government departments and institutions and the people of the region.
The General Coordinator of Sharjah Heritage Days said that the people and visitors of the region are on a date with a programme full of shows and events that will last until March 18.
He added that a large number of government departments and private sector institutions participate in the events, which include distinctive pavilions for productive families, many heritage activities, and cultural workshops.
He indicated that Al Ayyam Theatre presents to the audience a unique combination of artistic performances and traditional songs daily in Wadi Al Helo.
