Sharjah Government Media Bureau organised on Tuesday the meeting of the month for members of the government communication network from various government departments and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah, at the office's Sharjah Contact Centre in Khorfakkan.
The attendees toured the Centre's corridors, and were briefed on the Centre's departments, strategy in unifying government contact centres, as well as its working mechanisms and the services it provides to the public. The visitors also learnt about the Centre's efforts in establishing an advanced electronic database.
Al Naqbi revealed in an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24” that a tour was organised for the participants, including a visit to the most prominent landmarks of the city of Khorfakkan, including Al Rafisah Dam, the Khorfakkan amphitheater and waterfall, the old market, and in conclusion the archaeological tower of Al-Rabi.
He stressed the Centre's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with various government departments, in line with the government's efforts to unify call centers under a unified umbrella to provide information to the public about government activities and services through the unified number 8080000.
