Sharjah 24: Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kay Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, stated that the Parents and Partners Forum, in its third edition, which the department is keen to organise annually, discussed a large number of ideas and proposals that would develop services in the Eastern Region.
He explained that this interest stems from Sharjah Police's keenness to listen to various opinions and proposals that achieve integration in police work with partners and families.
In indicated to “Sharjah 24” that the forum, which was attended by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and a crowd of officials, discussed many issues and ideas through two dialogue sessions, by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and heads of municipal councils.
The sessions of the forum, which was organised Thursday in Khorfakkan, discussed a number of topics, including; Indicators of feeling safe, and security, traffic and social challenges in the emirate, specifically the cities of the Eastern Region.
The participants also discussed the outputs of dealing with security incidents, crises and disasters, future plans to combat crime, and the role of municipal councils in conveying the voice of the people to the security services, and facing all societal challenges.
