Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed the police's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with strategic partners from various government agencies and community groups.
Al Shamsi’s words came while witnessing the activities of the Parents and Partners Forum 2023, organised by the Eastern Region Police Department in Khorfakkan onThursday morning and was attended by members of the Sharjah Consultative Council, heads of municipal councils, directors of departments and government agencies in the Eastern Region, several police officers, and a large gathering of dignitaries and residents of the Eastern Region.
He said to “Sharjah 24” that the forum is one of the tools and events through which the Sharjah Police aims to listen to different opinions and learn about the needs of the people in the various regions of the emirate.
He stressed that the Sharjah Police is keen to enhance cooperation with various partners, and all groups and segments of society, to achieve the desired integration and goals at the security, service and preventive levels.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police stated that the Parents and Partners Forum reviewed, through its dialogue sessions, the roles of the municipal councils in the cities of the Eastern Region, and the prospects for cooperation with the police to meet the needs of citizens and residents, and keep pace with the great development witnessed by the cities of the region.
