Watering endowment project is at forefront of SAD's initiatives

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Awqaf Department (SAD) has implemented various community initiatives and projects, the most prominent of all is the watering endowment project, seeking to achieve its strategic goals and enhance its mechanisms of work, contributing in instilling the values of volunteerism in cooperation with the Sharjah Center for Voluntary Work.

Since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the department has taken the initiative to distribute water to Corona tests centres and vaccination centres, in addition to distributing it to shelters and workers’ residences, intensifying support for all members of society.

His Excellency Talib Al-Marri, Director General of the Department stressed that SAD’s initiatives have witnessed a great turnout from the public, shedding light on the importance of charitable and voluntary work.
