The week-long- gathering kicked off at the Sharjah Education Academy's headquarters.
"The Emirate of Sharjah, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was proactive in providing everything that would take care of children, so the decision came to establish government nurseries, to provide all aspects of caring for children of working mothers," Ali Al Hosani, Director of Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), stated.
Al Hosani added that the week's goal is to improve and develop the performance of schools, as well as to surmount challenges and barriers, and that the authority's support for private educational institutions through growth management has resulted in a significant shift in the work system.
The authority had released a handbook with defined criteria, which was disseminated to schools throughout the emirate, and they were allowed 6 months to work in line with the stated standards and proper education methods.
