The four-day event is organised following generous directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to support and sponsor equestrian activities, and under the generous patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The Sharjah Ruler's International Show Jumping Cup is a five-star tournament that is held outdoor, with the participation of 400 horses and 300 riders from 42 Arab and foreign countries competing to win 561,000 euros.
The tournament is the last Arab League leg to the World Cup final in the United States, and it consists of 16 rounds, six of which to be held in the covered hall, and 10 in the outdoor sandy field.
On the sidelines of the tournament, an exhibition of equestrian tools and supplies will be held, as well as many games and entertainment and heritage shows for children and the public.
