Sharjah24: With the collaboration of the Ministry of Education (ME), the Sixth International Arabic Language Conference will be held in Sharjah, UAE, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States is affiliated with the Arabic Language Education Centre for the Gulf States (ALECGS) in Sharjah (ABEGS).
This conference, themed "In Arabic... We Become Creative," will look at current academic and practical studies and research on the evolution of Arabic language teaching from a diagnostic approach, both at the regional and worldwide levels.
While doing so, it will strive to improve the use of cutting-edge programmes and technology in the classroom, as well as identify the unique challenges, advantages, and downsides of using such tools to teach Arabic.
Experts will share their experience and discuss the most efficient ways for teaching Arabic at the conference. The conference will include more than 107 papers and research, as well as discussions on best practises and ideas for teaching Arabic.
Dr. Issa Al-Hammadi, Director of the Educational Centre for Arabic Language for the Gulf States in Sharjah, confirmed that the conference is one of the authorised programmes for the 2023-2024 session of the Educational Centre for Arabic Language for the Gulf States.
Al-Hammadi welcomed all professionals interested in contributing to the service and expansion of the Arabic language, as well as the development of its teaching and learning, to attend the conference and its seminars within the authorised areas and axes.
