Sharjah24: The Education, Culture, Media and Youth Affairs Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), during its meeting on Tuesday, approved the axes and proposed questions that will be presented to the officials of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), aiming to discuss, during the Council’s session on Thursday, the Institute's policy and enhance its successes.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Humaid Al Zaabi, and was attended by members of the committee, and a number of members of the Council.
The SCC’s committee reviewed the results of its meeting with the chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and his assistants, highlighting the Institute's work, and the most prominent recommendations that support its plans and heritage activities, contributing in enhancing awareness of Emirati heritage and educational programmes.
Concluding the meeting, the attendees approved the formulation of a number of questions and proposals that will be discussed during the session, which aims to enhance the institute's successes in its ongoing roles in preserving the heritage, as well as the annual organisation of Sharjah Heritage Days.
