Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has strengthened its record of quality certificates and awards by obtaining the international accreditation of PAS 7070: 2016 Benchmarking Management Certificate.
SEDD is among the first local and federal government institutions and entities to obtain the certificate in cooperation with Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
His Excellency Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, confirmed that the SEDD’s obtaining of the certificate confirms its success in continuously developing the efficiency standards of its services and bringing them to the highest levels.
Hamad Al Midfa, Acting Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Department, indicated that the SEDD’s obtainment of the international standard for benchmarking contributes to identifying the organisational needs of SEDD to measure its performance.
Al Midfa clarified that obtaining ISO PAS 7070: 2016 in the field of benchmarking management contributes to supporting the system of excellence and institutional development and raising the efficiency of strategic plans according to international practices.
