Sharjah24 : Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, received a delegation from Mleiha Area Municipal Council in order to strengthen coordination and cooperation between them. The meeting was attended by Dhahi Hareb Al Mansoori and Abdullah Salem Khalfan Al Ketbi, members of Mleiha Area Municipal Council, while a number of directors and officials attended from SEDD side.
The meeting was coordinated with the aim of contributing constructively and positively to achieving sustainable economic development in Sharjah. This makes the Emirate occupy a distinguished position at the regional and international levels, and in response to the economic changes taking place in the local arena, which require the necessity and importance of raising the rates of cooperation between the various government agencies to keep pace with the current commercial and industrial developments. Such thing contributes to providing more services and facilities necessary for the business environment in the emirate.

In this regard, SEDD Chairman stressed that it is important to hold such meetings in order to enhance cooperation and coordination between the various government agencies. he added that the Department discussed the most important procedures followed by SEDD at the emirate level with regard to the requirements for issuing licenses, the requirements for business establishment centers, and the coordination mechanisms provided by it in cooperation with the relevant local and federal authorities.

The meeting also touched on the economic growth rates, which are witnessing a remarkable increase in the Mleiha area in recent times. Also, the two parties exchanged views on the economic reality and developments taking place, in addition to getting acquainted with the current and future plans and programs. During the meeting, some solutions and proposals were provided that would eliminate all obstacles and problems facing some commercial activities in order to ensure the continuity of growth in the area.
