In the press conference held on Sunday, the HPD confirmed that it seeks to strengthen Sharjah's efforts to be the first healthy city in the region and the world.
Iman Rashid Saif, Director of the Health Promotion Department, stated that the upcoming programmes are a continuation of its efforts at strengthening the position of Sharjah as a regional and international model in healthcare. She indicated that the department is guided by the wise directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, in her endeavor to improve health-related behaviors to provide a better life that guarantees society's well-being, safety, happiness, and a better tomorrow for future generations.
Afterward, senior officials from the HPD's affiliated health-supporting associations reviewed the most important programmes they will execute in 2023.
