Sharjah24: As part of its annual "Warm Winter" charitable campaign, the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) continues to implement its seasonal campaign "Warm Winter" in 9 countries, in cooperation with the concerned authorities in the beneficiary countries, through the SCI’s regional offices in Asia and Africa.
Commenting on this Muhammad Abdulrahman Al Ali, Director of Projects and External Aid Department, has highlighted the significance of the "Warm Winter" seasonal campaign, stressing that through this campaign the Sharjah Charity International intensifies its efforts by supporting needy persons and poor people around the world by providing them with means of heating. The Sharjah Charity International implements its charitable campaign in various countries, including, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Bosnia, Montenegro, Bangladesh, Nepal, Jordan and Mauritania in addition to the Arab Republic of Egypt. About 3,839 families are scheduled to benefit from the campaign.
Al Ali explained that the campaign's aid includes heating tools, winter clothes, as well as heavy blankets, coal and firewood, according to the needs of each region. He pointed out that the campaign embodies one of the fundamental goals of foreign aid implemented by the SCI, enhancing the values of support and togetherness with others.
