SCC’s Family committee discusses DVAD’s policy

Sharjah24: The Family Affairs Committee, in the presence of a number of members of Sharjah Consultative Council, discussed the various roles and specializations of the policy of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD), in preparation for its discussion in the next session.
During the meeting, a number of topics, questions and proposals were prepared to be presented to the DVAD during the work of the seventh session, which will be held within the work of the SCC for the fourth regular session of the tenth legislative term.

The meeting was chaired by Her Excellency Fatima Ali Al Muhairi, Chairperson of the Family Affairs Committee, and was attended by members of the committee and a number of members of the council who applied to discuss the policy of DVAD.

During the meeting, the Family Committee reviewed a summary of its last week visit to DVAD, which led to discuss various topics that affect the work of the department within its framework aimed at enhancing community solidity and strengthening the bonds of social cohesion.

Members of the meeting addressed DVAD’s issues in coordination with the competent authorities to provide housing, educational, health, cultural and social services, strengthen social cohesion and contribute to maintaining security in society.

At the end of the meeting, the members approved the formulation of a number of questions and proposals that will be presented during the session, which will aim to enhance the work of the department and the various suburban councils .
