Sharjah 24: Fatima Al Muhairi, Chairperson of the Family Affairs Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), stated that the SCC discussed, in its seventh session within its work for the fourth ordinary session of the tenth legislative chapter, on Thursday, the policy of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD).
She stated that in her question to the SDVAD, she noted His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, description of the department as a way for His Highness to see and hear citizens.
She added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the SDVAD is responsible for communicating the needs of citizens to the government through its councils in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The session was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of Sharjah Executive Council and Head of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD), along with other officials from the department.
