Sharjah 24: In order to achieve its strategy of providing the best services and seeking to develop them in line with the requirements of customers, the Sharjah Police, represented by the Vehicle Licensing Department, activated the electronic signature service for vehicle licensing services with the aim of facilitating the customer’s obtainment of services.
The  electronic signature service is in line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior aimed at ensuring the provision of all administrative services in accordance with standards of quality, efficiency and transparency, and enhancing the happiness of customers with the services provided.

Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Khater, Head of the Vehicle Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, explained that the e-signature service targeted individuals by enabling vehicle owners to sign electronically on the Ministry of Interior website. The e-signature facilitates transactions related to the transfer, export, and transfer of vehicle ownership from one person to another without physical presence of the individual.

As for companies, as the head of the Vehicles Licensing Department said, they can benefit from this service after bringing a letter of representation from the company to allow one of the company's members to carry out their tasks in the process of registration, renewal and transfer of ownership of the company's vehicles. He must come and sign in the following locations: - Industrial Area 12, the police office in the Al Ruqa Al Hamra, the Al Dhaid Vehicle Licensing Department, and the Kalba Police Station.

Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Khater stressed that the Sharjah Police is keen to develop its police system and improve its services, and harness all its capabilities to serve the public, simplify their procedures, and provide pioneering and highly developed services.
