Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, completed 16,968 smart vehicle registration transactions during the first half of 2022, through the Ministry of Interior’s smart application and website “MOI”, and this comes within the Ministry’s strategy to complete all services digitally .
Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Khater, Head of the Vehicle Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, affirmed that Sharjah Police has worked to convert services provided to dealers in the field of vehicle licensing into smart electronic services, through a number of electronic stages.
Lt. Colonel Abdul Rahman Khater explained that the process began by registering new vehicles in car agencies, where agency representatives were trained on the vehicle registration mechanism, pointing out that the number of new vehicles registered through the agencies were "5,200" new vehicles.
The Head of the Vehicles and Vehicles Licensing Department at Sharjah Police called on individual and corporate customers to take advantage of all the services provided to them through the smart applications available on the website of the Ministry of Interior or the “MOI” smart application, which contributes to reducing the time of the customer .
