Sharjah24: His Excellency Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, President of the Al Qasimia University (AQU), received the participants in the Sharjah Munshid program, which is organised by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, at the university's headquarters on Monday morning.
He briefed the participants on the role of Al Qasimia University in spreading the concepts of moderation, representing a unique model of civilised and cultural diversity for more than 113 nationalities from different countries of the world.
Then the munshids toured the corridors of the university between classrooms, radio and television studios, and the House of Islamic Manuscripts, reviewing its distinguished capabilities in preserving manuscripts, and the rare historical documents it contains.
