Sharjah 24: To celebrate World Children's Day, which falls on November 20, Al Hamriyah Branch of the Sharjah Social Services Department organised a number of activities on this occasion.
Maryam Al Shamsi, Director of SSSD’s Al Hamriyah Branch, said that the aim of the event is to emphasise the right of the children to enjoy their childhood and for individuals and institutions to be aware of the importance of this right.
She noted that the event comes to create an atmosphere of entertainment for children filled with educational, awareness and entertainment programmes.
She added that Al Hamriyah Beach Park was chosen because it is an open and beautiful place that allows the practice of all activities, and the invitation is open to all from 4pm until 9pm.
