Al Midfa: "My Heritage" holds exhibition of Talli craft, Bulgari

Sharjah24: Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council, an affiliate of NAMA Women Advancement organised on Wednesday an exhibition combined between the Emirati Talli craft and Bulgari jewelry. Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing Alia Omar Al-Midfa, Institutional Relations Officer at the Irthi Council , who spared no efforts in shedding light on the event.
Alia Omar Al-Midfa emphasized that the exhibition is a cultural exchange between the Emirati Talli craft and Bulgari jewelry, which is inspired by the Italian city of Rome. She continued, "A group of array have been presented, contributing to presenting a rich dialogue with the aim of highlighting the significance of cultural exchange and preserving and documenting heritage and traditional crafts, which is what the Emirate of Sharjah seeks as the city of crafts and folk arts like the craft of Talli, which was listed by the Cities Network, UNESCO.

Alia Al Midfa indicated that the exhibition included more than 100 pieces of the Emirati Talli craft and Bulgari heritage jewelry, which were designed from the fifties until today.
