Sharjah24: The Organising Committee of Border Ports and Points in Sharjah received a delegation from the Oman Police, headed by Lt. Colonel Mansour bin Salem Al Bahlani, Director of Passports and Civil Affairs at North Al Batinah Command, at Khatm Melaha border crossing with Sharjah.
The two sides held a coordination meeting that dealt with a number of joint work issues and discussed aspects of cooperation, in addition to some observations received from the Emirati-Omani Joint Committee.

His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi welcomed the attendees, stressing that this meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Organising Committee of the Ports and Border Points in Sharjah to implement the directives of the Government of Sharjah and embody its interest and recommendations in providing facilities at the ports and border points with the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, in addition to setting a long-term roadmap that represents a model For cooperation and integration between the two sides, he praised the level of cooperation with the Oman Police.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi presented the visiting delegation with a souvenir, copies of the book "The History of the Ya'ariba in Oman", written by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
