Sharjah 24: The Organising Committee of Sharjah Border Ports and Points celebrated the visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman at the invitation of his brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.

The festive manifestations included decorating the outlets with the flags of both the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, accompanied with visual presentation on internal and external screens of the images of the two leaders, and chronicling the strong bilateral ties between the two nations established by the founders of the two states the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the late Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed.

Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs, and Chairman of the Organisational Committee for Border Ports and Points in Sharjah, stressed that the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman reflects the depth of brotherly common cultural, historical and social ties between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples, enhanced by the  true efforts made by the wise leadership of the two countries.
