Sharjah 24: The Deputy Director of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment Department of the Sharjah Police, Colonel Mona Al Shuweihi, won the Emirates Women Award 2022 in the Distinguished Employee category at a ceremony hosted by Dubai Quality Group.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, Honorary Sponsor of Dubai Quality Group, was at the ceremony.

"I am honoured to have earned this important award, which is regarded as an honour for all female workers working in Sharjah Police, since this award celebrates the achievements of working Emirati women," Colonel Mona Al-Shuweihi said after receiving the award. She expressed her gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and his deputy for their unwavering encouragement of female employees' innovative spirit.
