Sharjah 24: During the 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), Iman Hareb, Director of the Social Protection Department at the Ministry of Community Development, expressed her delight at the Ruler of Sharjah's support of the book "My Childhood in Fifty Years' Time," which was the result of collaboration between the Sharjah Child-Friendly Office (SCFO) and the Ministry.
According to Hareb, the United Arab Emirates is aiming to safeguard the rights of children, including their "cultural rights," as outlined in the Child Rights Law "Wadeema."
Hareb stressed that the children's involvement in creating these stories is a big help in protecting their right to freely express their ideas and hopes for the future of the country's development plan over the next half century.
