Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, stated that festivals continue to roam between Arab cities, emphasising the importance of poetry in Arabic culture, adding that these festivals enjoy the continuous sponsorship and support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah. Therefore, it is an ideal opportunity to get acquainted with new faces revealed by the festivals as the culmination of the efforts of poetry houses in the Arab world throughout the year.
