Sharjah 24: As part of the activities of the 25th edition of the Islamic Arts Festival (IAF), His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Culture, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs, opened 3 exhibitions in Calligraphy Square in the Heart of Sharjah.
This came in the presence of Aisha Dimas, Director General of the Sharjah Museums Authority, and a large number of artists, media figures, and lovers of Arabic calligraphy.
Al Owais, Al Qaseer and the audience toured around the exhibitions, looking at a series of distinctive works that showcase the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, while listening at the same time to a detailed explanation from the calligraphers about their work.
