Sharjah Ruler issues Decision forming ALA’s Board of Trustees

According to Decision No. (1) of 2022, the Board of Trustees of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah is formed under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, and the membership of His Excellency Prof. Ahmed Al-Dhubaib, former Director of King Saud University / Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; His Excellency Prof. Ibrahim Al-Saafin, former Head of the Arabic Language Department at the University of Sharjah / Kingdom of Jordan; His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Saif Al-Toubi, Director of the Center of the Arabisation, Translation and Interest in the Arabic Language / Sultanate of Oman; His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah; and His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.

The membership of the Board of Trustees shall be for a term of four years, renewable for one or more terms. Those who have completed their membership term may be reappointed.
