Sharjah 24: His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden, Head of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, announced the launch of the competitions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Camel Racing Festival.
The festival is held for the first time at Al Dhaid Square, with the participation of many camel owners, competing for 126 runs distributed over 5 days, with a total prize of more than 6 million dirhams.
His Excellency expressed thanks and great gratitude to His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the great and continuous support provided to the club, camel people and heritage lovers, and for holding this festival.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", he added that the festival witnessed a large participation of camel owners locally and regionally.
