Sharjah 24: Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah, inaugurated the Maidan Al Dhaid Heritage Village, as part of the activities accompanying His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi’s Camel Racing Festival, with the participation of government institutions, bodies and productive families.
Mutaib Al Shammari, the media coordinator of the Maidan Al Dhaid Heritage Village, announced the opening of the festival Friday, adding to “Sharjah 24” that many valuable prizes will be allocated for the various categories of the festival’s competitions.
Al Shammari extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah for his generous sponsorship of the festival, and His Highness’s continuous support for camel owners and heritage enthusiasts and lovers.
