SDAL visits Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt

Sharjah24: Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji led a delegation from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock Resources on a recent trip to the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation to look for ways to work together, especially in wheat farming.

The ministry's research centres briefed the visiting group on the ministry's current agricultural development projects, as well as the high reliability and strong global demand for Egyptian products.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al Tunaiji expressed gratitude to the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Al Qaseer, for taking the initiative to collaborate with the Emirate of Sharjah on the supply of high-purity Egyptian wheat varieties for cultivation in the wheat farm inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the Mleiha. It was agreed to establish communication channels between the ministry and the department in order to transmit expertise in several key areas.
