The campaign will include various events, programmes, and medical conferences, all delivered in Arabic and English, in addition to sports activities. All activities will take place in multiple regions of Sharjah for a week.
The press conference witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between the Friends of Arthritis Patients Association and several private institutions, such as Fast Building Contracting to provide support in all activities implemented by the association, Axios International to support arthritis patients by providing them with free medicines and treatment, and Medcare Hospital in Sharjah to cooperate in providing healthcare services to patients.
Waheeda Abdel Aziz, Head of FOAP, stated that the launch of innovative initiatives and projects during World Arthritis Day is an affirmation of the association's commitment to work following the wise directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
