Al Jallaf stated that most of his displayed artworks are hadiths and Quranic verses drawn in different types of Arabic calligraphy.
He indicated, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that several criteria needed to be considered to select the winners: the text should be written correctly, and the calligraphy is basic if in the authentic calligraphy competition. He explained further that for the modern school, the artwork must be contemporary in color, design, and form, in addition to the cleanliness of work and writing, the strength of the letter, mass and space, and several other factors that were taken into account during the sorting processes.
