Sharjah24: The activities of the fourth 10m Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship, which was organised by the UAE Air Shooting Federation, was concluded in the shooting hall at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, with the participation of all the country’s clubs in the men’s and women’s categories.
The tournament witnessed a qualitative competition by different participating clubs. At the end of the championship rounds, the closing ceremony was organised, in the presence of several dignitaries, to honour the winners of the tournament according to their categories.
Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim from Al Dhaid Sports Club won first place in the rifle category, while Salem Mohammed Arshad Al Yamahi from Al Dhaid Sports Club came second Hussein Ibrahim Al Yasi from Al Dhaid Sports Club won third place.
His Excellency Hamid Abdullah Al-Sadriya Al-Khatiri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Dhaid Club, praised the success and excellence of the fourth championship for shooting the rifle and the 10m pistol, strengthening the capabilities and teams of local clubs as part of their permanent preparations for competition and qualifying shooters at all levels. Al Khatiri stressed that Al Dhaid Club is pleased to provide aspects of support and participation in all the activities of the Emirates Shooting Federation, contributing in promoting the success of the various tournaments.
