Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council supported the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club to host a friendly shooting competition for clubs, in which 40 shooters from different clubs across the UAE took part. The contest continued for three days.
The competition featured teams from the Sharjah Shooting Club, the Women's Sports Club, Al Nasr Club, and Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club.
In an exclusive interview, Ali Al Ketbi, Head of the Organising Committee of the Competition, told "Sharjah 24" in an exclusive interview that the best shooters in this friendly competition would be chosen to represent the UAE Shooting Federation at the next World Championships for Pistol and Rifle Shooting.
According to Al Ketbi, the Al Dhaid Club hosts four official contests annually, whereas the UAE Shooting Federation organises five to promote the shooting sport.
