Sharjah24: Sharjah Government has announced its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2022, held from October 10 to 14, at the World Trade Center in Dubai.

Ten government agencies are participating in Sharjah Government pavilion, showcasing 15 projects and initiatives in dealing with government applications in a short time, which enhances the level of services provided to the people and institutions, as well as provides an integrated supportive environment for various sectors and emerging companies.

The Higher Committee of Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX 2022 organised a preparatory forum for participating entities in the presence of Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi - Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2022, and Director of the Sharjah Digital Office. At the end of the forum, a workshop on public relations and protocols was organised.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan said: "In the implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to serve the sustainable growth of all sectors and in the interest of developing the quality of all services, the Government of Sharjah, in its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2022, will showcase projects and initiatives that have been implemented in Sharjah. These projects and initiatives succeeded in providing services that efficiently enhance and facilitate government work.

"With the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, we have made remarkable progress in technical transformation of services through cooperation with government agencies in Sharjah, and everything that has been achieved is only the beginning of new achievements and best government services, and thus improving the quality of life, within the joint pursuit of the country’s strategy that will be the capital of future generations,” Sheikh Saud bin Sultan said.

He concluded: “We are keen to cooperate with government agencies to exchange experiences during the exhibition, develop services, implement best local and international services, and also forge partnerships to include more government services at the federal level and the private sector, which is in line with the fourth aspect of the UAE Centennial Plan 2071, which is to raise the national economy.”
