Sharjah24: The Parents Council in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, affiliated to the Sharjah Education Council, organised a dialogue session on marine heritage, as part of its celebration of the elderly on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons.
The session, being attended by Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al-Hamoudi, Head of the Parents’ Council in Dibba Al Hisn and several dignitaries, focused on the fishing profession.
The elderly were briefed on the ancient fishing profession and its development, as well as shedding light on the maritime heritage and its arts.
