Sharjah 24: As part of the seventh edition of UAE Women Writers Forum, organised by the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, under the theme "Literature and Artificial Intelligence", a large number of poets and intellectuals gathered in a poetry evening held at the House of Wisdom Wednesday evening.

During the evening, which was moderated by Dr. Aisha Al Busamit, in the presence of Salha Ghabish, Director of the Cultural and Media Office, poetesses Hamda Khamis, Amna Al Khayyat, Hamda Al Awadi, Nayla Al Ahbabi, delivered poems on various themes.

Dr. Al Busmait said that poetry evenings and forums seek to highlight the women’s poetic traditions in the country by shedding light on the socio-cultural framework, forms, themes, aesthetic and ethical issues and the developments of feminist poetic production in the UAE, referring to the life of the poet Hamda Khamis, describing her as a contemporary poet and journalistic writer.

Poems of various poetic types, forms and diversity on universe, love, thought, human being and description were delivered during the evening.
