'Aman Ya Beladi' discusses SP’s efforts in combating narcotics

Sharjah 24: The programme "Aman Ya Beladi ", prepared by the Department of Media and Public Relations at Sharjah Police (SP), hosted in an episode, on Monday, which is broadcast live on Sharjah Radio, Lt. Col. Majid Sultan Al Asam, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department of Sharjah Police (SP), and the episode was presented by Major Ibrahim Al Midfa, and First Lieutenant Saud Busim.
The guest of the episode, Lt. Col. Majid Sultan Al Asam discussed the efforts made by the SP in the field of combating narcotics and psychotropic substances, reviewing a number of awareness aspects to prevent the scourge of drugs and their dangerous negative consequences for the individual and society.

Lieutenant-Colonel Majid Al Asam also pointed out the importance of the cooperation of the community with the security services to detect some abnormal behaviours and report them as soon as they occur.

In a separate context, Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Butti Al Hajri, Deputy Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Sharjah Police (SP), spoke on the phone about the security awareness campaign that was launched during the month of September, organised by the Department of Media and Public Relations in cooperation with a number of strategic partners, entitled "Safe Construction Environment."

The campaign aims to educate members of the public about the necessity of securing their properties in sites under construction, and protecting them from theft, explaining a number of reasons that make these places a fertile environment for theft, in addition to a number of solutions that contribute to protecting and securing these places.

Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Owais, Deputy Director of the Training Department at the Sharjah Police Science Academy, spoke over the phone about the strategic sports plan of the SP, pointing out the most important pillars and goals that the strategy relied on in implementing its plans, highlighting the most prominent principles that the Sports Strategy Development Team seeks to achieve in the near future.
