Sharjah 24: The Central Region Police Department of the Sharjah Police, in cooperation with a group of hospitals and care centres, including NMC Royal Sharjah Hospital, Ajman Specialised Hospital, VBM Healthcare and others, organised a health awareness initiative for its employees, to enhance the quality of healthy life.

Dubbed “Your Health Matters”, the initiative aim to educate affiliates about the importance of following healthy lifestyles to reduce disease risk, encourage early diagnosis, and adopt preventive health behaviours to control disease.

The campaign also saw the participation of a number of doctors and nurses, who worked on conducting various tests for the police affiliates, including blood pressure and diabetes tests, in addition to providing medical consultations to patients with some health problems.

The department’s employees expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for its concern for the health and safety of individuals, and its provision of all medical services that help them maintain the quality of their healthy lives.
