Sharjah 24: The Higher Organising Committee of Sharjah Theatre Days held its first meeting at the Palace of Culture, headed by Ahmed Burhima, Director of Theatre Department in the Department of Culture, Director of Sharjah Theatre Days, in the presence of committee members Ismail Abdullah, Mohammed Jamal and Abdullah Rashid.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent features of the last edition, which was held from March 17-25, and the accompanying cultural performances and activities that it witnessed.
The thirty-second edition of the Sharjah Theatre Days, organised by the Theatre Department at the Department of Culture, will be held from March 13-20, 2023, and the last deadline for receiving those wishing to participate is the last day of September.
Sharjah Theatre Days was established in 1984. It is an artistic and cultural event in which Emirati theatre groups compete for a number of prizes for theatrical performance arts. It is also filled with many intellectual activities associated with the participation of many Gulf and Arab artists.
