Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education - Dubai Campus. The cooperation included supporting education programmes for orphaned students affiliated with the Foundation, in addition to supporting the university scholarship programme.
The memorandum aims to enable orphaned students benefiting from academic support programmes to give them the opportunity to complete their university studies and enroll in higher education institutions, in order to enhance their readiness to join the labor market.
Mona bin Hadda Al-Suwaidi, Director General of SSEF, said: “Signing this memorandum opens up providing better opportunities for our orphaned children to continue their university education.
She added, "We affirm that the Foundation is always keen to build bridges of cooperation with various governmental and private institutions, with the aim of supporting its services and programmes provided in line with its orientations in caring for orphans and providing supportive services and programmes for them."
