Sharjah24: On August 28 of each year, UAE celebrates Emirati Women’s Day, the same day on which the General Women’s Union was established. This celebration comes in the belief of the wise country’s leadership in the importance of the contributions of the daughters of the nation and their role in the development efforts and the country’s well-being, and in appreciation and honour for what they have provided to support the march the state inside and outside the country.
“Sharjah 24”, in cooperation with the Health Promotion Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, made an inspiring video targeting an elite group of volunteer work directors in the council’s health associations. Emirati women have the right to be proud of and celebrate their efforts because they have given a lot and returned the favor to a country that gave them many opportunities.
Ahlam bin Jarash, Assistant Director of Al Qasimia University for Female Student Affairs and a member of the Board of Directors of the Diabetes Friends Association, said that the daughter of the Emirates has unlimited ambition, a will and determination to make achievements, a beating tender and a determination that is united and not impossible.
Engineer Khawla Abdulaziz Al-Noman, President of the Friends of Breastfeeding Association, added that the Emirati women’s record is full of historical achievements from empowerment to leadership regionally and internationally, and continues the path of giving and creativity towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
Mona Al-Hawai, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Friends of Kidney Disease, confirmed that Emirati women are partners in building the nation, creating the future, and the bet of wise and successful leadership.
Waheeda Abdulaziz, president of the Arthritis Patients Friends Association, proudly expressed that Emirati women have proven their worth with the trust of the wise leadership and have drawn a clear approach under the slogan of an inspiring reality, a sustainable future.
